* £1 a pop at the moment, all types, at Sainsbury's. Freezable and cook from frozen.

Stewed blackcurrants from the allotment, over vanilla Carte d'Or ice cream. Nom, nom as ones son might say ! Now just have to work out what to do with a mountain of courgettes.... Fun to grow but a nightmare to get rid of !

Smoked gammon steaks cooked on my cast iron griddle together with mushrooms and pineapple rings. Oven chips and peas. Béarnaise sauce and tomato ketchup.

Yesterday I did pork souvla on my foukou BBQ https://www.cyprusbbq.co.uk/products...tra-wide-black (I bought mine in Cyprus) with nice potatoes from the garden, baby tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. Fresh cherries from the farmer's market.
