Re: What have you just bought?
A few knife sets from Kuhn Rikon
https://www.kuhnrikon.co.uk/
Use promo code
CUSTOMER20
for 20% off. Another is
RETURN20
I'm not sure whether they will stack. I got the latter after I made a purchase.
Note their return policy sucks even if the knives go blunt after some use. I brought the sharpener for this reason.

Re: What have you just bought?
What's the actual knife set and what sharpener did you buy? Hopefully not one of those 'Any Sharp' ruin whatever knife jobbies...
I've just got this for a present for a mate.

Re: What have you just bought?
FIFA 25 (or whatever it’s called) for the lad for Christmas. It’s been £69 for ages but this morning on Amazon it was £42. Bang tidy

Some small neodymium magnets to repair a couple of fridge magnets that have lost their actual magnets.

Re: What have you just bought?
Bottles of bourbon (one is a gift), trail camera (wife's Christmas present), bits for the camera (memory card, stand) so she can set it up to watch her pond. Probably a bit more than she would use but I can't bring my self to buy something tatty that may do but only just. Other wifey pressies for the stocking.
Just ordering the Christmas meat - venison for Christmas day and duck for boxing day. Thinking about the other days before New Year.

Re: What have you just bought?
Mini-Russ’ main Christmas present, remote controlled car with suspension, tracked tyres, LED headlights etc and does about 25mph on the top speed setting. Comes with 2 usb-charged battery packs. Usually £120 but again Amazon Black Friday struck again and I had it for £80.

Re: What have you just bought?
Magimix Nespresso Vertuo Plus coffee machine from John Lewis (half the price of the same model on the Nespresso site), and a rechargeable electric toothbrush (Oral B Pro 3) for SWMBO.
We’ve had our other Nespresso machine for early five years, but it’s started leaking and is out of warranty.

Vape pens for the missus. It looks like she, too, is on the way to be tobacco-free.

I did see a knife which the craftsman 1 month to make and is fo sharp you can take 3 layers off the skin, It was a paring knife. But at £1,500 i sprayed the tea over my keyboard and thought perhaps not.

Re: What have you just bought?
The best and foremost item in the kitchen are your knives. Learn knife skills but with proper knives (not your Jamie Oliver coloured ones etc). It'll make everything so much easier and you will enjoy cooking and prepping so much more and so much quicker too.
