Because its live there is someone sat typing them out as you see the program. So they can't always keep up with what's being said. Especially if it's unscripted.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Car Insurance
We are a 3 car family. Due to 'circumstances' over the previous year, Wife & Daughter (both work for the same organisation) have been working from home . . and rumours are this could continue for at least one of them.
Thoughts were we sell Daughters car and add her as a named driver onto the wifes insurance . . . . . and that's where it ended
Daughter is 21, 3 years no claims, her own insurance this year would be around £380
If she sells her car and is added as a named driver to either of our insurance policies . . . it's roughly an extra £2100 a year
Looks like we will remain a 3 car family then

We were in the same position a few years back when I no longer needed my own car on a daily basis. We decided to sell our son's car and he would then have the use of my newer lower mileage car as a named driver. His insurance would have skyrocketed.
Luckily someone suggested that we considered transferring ownership of my car to him then he transferred his insurance to his "new" car adding me as the named driver. A bit of a faff but the new quote with my being on his policy actually reduced his premium. If it's any help we did this with DirectLine. Maybe worth getting a quote and seeing if it still works.

Mrs P and I both get lower premiums by having each other added as named drivers on our policies. It's bizarre.

They seem to think you're more stable if you have a partner long term enough to potentially let them drive your car regularly. I kept my ex wife on mine for years.

When our daughter lived at home we were named drivers on her policy to reduce the premium BUT found it cheaper if I was the first named driver and my wife was the second then the other way round

At one time we had a multi-car policy with an insurer and when renewal came in with a big hike in price we looked around and found it cheaper to have separated policies with same insurer same details/dates etc than the multi-car.

Weekend garbage on TV.
If it isn't talentless shows, dancing etc, it's crap endless quiz shows.

If you're stuck in a room with someone else watching then just fire up your tablet with headphones and watch something you like?
I've not watched anything on regular broadcast TV in over a year I should cancel it really.

The first 5 slots in the EPG are just a desert of entertainment.
I wonder why people bother.

I've just finished all the X-Files, and moved onto The Lone Gunmen.
I have a large number of box sets in DVD & Blu-ray's to watch, which I watch during the day to ease the dull monotony of meing out of work.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
That poxy "Internet Matters" advert.
They seem to allow their kids unlimited phone or tablet time.
Then there is the mention of the kids finding the passwords easily.
When my sister bought her daughter a mobile she immediately set ground rules, failure to comply meant no phone.
I don't have kids, but I know how to keep them internet safe.
