Yesterday at salvation army I saw the game RISK and it looked like an older box so I got it..... It says COPYRIGHT 1959 on it and according to this page it came out in 1957!
http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_(game)
I cant believe someone had this AND LET IT GO!!
They had it priced 9.99 but I got 1/2 off......
The board looks fabulous!!!!!!!
They really ruined this game starting in the 80s and its sad.....

Re: What have you just bought?
The original French version came out in 1957. The version in 1959 was the first English version.

I don't bother with ironing either. If I need a shirt ironed I use a handheld steamer which does the job.

Don't bother with Ironing mate, it's not needed, just hang shirts on either an outside line or indoor rack(like I do) on a hanger straight out of the washer without using a dryer, it'll make your life easier.

My sister will not allow this, she is a Karen, and that is her name.

Tell her you tried an easier way or ask her what time would you like your ironing delivered to her. Lol

The umami flavour giver. I sued to make all-veg Minestrone, then one day added MSG, and WOW!
The game would be MGS
