Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Well Defoe got away with a yellow for biting another player, still it was Mascherano[sp] so I think a yellow was sufficient punishment.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
so he wasn't deserving of another yellow which would have seen him see red?

He should have a fitting punishment as there are no excuses and he is in the last chance saloon now for many Liverpool supporters.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
It's pretty simple if Suarez was a very average player he would have been hunted long ago. As it is he's an excellent player so despite his long list of vile acts and behaviour it will be tolerated by the club, sad

I'm not so sure Brendan Rodgers is willing to bow down to him like Kenny did, time will tell though.

Well at the moment l would say its 70/30 that Liverpool won't get rid of him but of course l am usually wrong.

Not really talking getting rid of him I meant it more as a Rodgers wouldn't openly come out in the press and defend the player with all his might (Kenny incident)
I think he'll be out for the season due to the FA, might miss a few at the start of next as well as receive disciplinary action from Liverpool and that would be that.
Unfortunately like seen with Tevez and Man City, players just do whatever they fancy when they come under criticism and punishment. I'm sure Liverpool will take in all the possibilities before deciding.
On one hand Liverpool need to stamp their authority and show their player he can't just go get banned when he feels like it. On the other he may kick up a fuss if disciplined.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Reported in the paper today that he started his vile tricks at a very early age, he was apparently sent off at the age of 15 for breaking a refs nose by headbutting him.
At least he can now say that he has 'tasted' Champions League success.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Seen on Twitter today, Suarez was fined for yesterday by Liverpool and he asked for the money to be given to Hillsborough charity. Like that will appease anyone. Pillock. Sell him, and let him take Wenger, Bale and Rooney with him.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Yes he has been fined but it looks like Liverpool are going to send him for counselling plus whatever the punishment the FA deems suitable to give to him.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
I see he's using hillsborough for some good spin. "Donating" his fine, was there any need to make it public? I'm sure the scousers will love it though.
