Will the new 200MB tier be 200MB 'and a bit' also?
Sorry, I did look through this huge thread but couldn't see that asked before

They usually add a bit to cover themselves. I got 55mb on the 50mb tier (10% extra), 110mb on the 100mb tier (10% extra), and am now getting 158mb on the new 150mb tier (5% extra) - so slightly less generous. Not that it makes any difference...

It's 220000000 bits which equates to 209.8 Megabits, according to my casio scientific calculator.
Edit
-----
I take it all back, I think

220000000 bits is 220 megabits exactly.
Multiples of 1024 are only used for memory sizes. Communications speeds and hard drive sizes are multiples of 1000.

You're confusing 1024. It has never been 1048.

The Mebibit is a multiple of the bit, a unit of information, prefixed by the standards-based multiplier Mebi (symbol Mi), a binary prefix meaning 2^20. The unit symbol of the Mebibit is Mibit.
1 Mebibit = 2^20 bits = 1048576bits = 1024 kibibits

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mebibit
No-one seems to use the 'i' though, a 4 Meg ram chip is generally 4MiB 4 * 1024 *1024 * 8 bits, but comms and hard disk companies use the strictly correct k=1000 because it gives bigger numbers.

Re: Virgin Media 70, 150 & 200 Mb Upgrades
Our new router is due to come tomorrow Monday but we have had no tracking information and its still saying on My Virgin on orders that it has not been sent out.
I called on Friday and CS told me that its still due to come Monday but i dont want to wait in all day for it not to turn up.
Also the 200 Meg is due to start Monday as well so what kind of time of the day does the speed go up?

I got a text message on the morning of my delivery with the tracking number - the tracking info never showed up in My VirginMedia order tracking stating that a tracking number hadn't been allocated yet and to check back nearer to your delivery date.
200 meg should kick in when you activate your new hub.
