That's 99% of cable TV mate. Can't believe some pay so much to watch football, boxing, American high school romp films etc. But each to their own ,it's good to have a choice, which VM are limiting.

l think its becoming quite clear MM that many TV viewers regard Amazon Prime video , Netflix and Now TV as nice little add ons to their main linear TV viewing to in where they dip in and out of when it suits them.

Nope, never watch adverts - a benefit of recorders.

Well, if they do, they are missing out big time. There is a far better choice on the streaming services. However, for some strange reason, when people are tired, they find it less brain work just to access the 'normal' channels, even though this gives them a worse viewing experience with commercials that are often of better quality than the programme being shown!

I have to admit, that even I have not been that drunk to think or do such a thing!

Just choose Netflix, pick a programme from your previously annotated watch list and enjoy.

That of course is your opinion and you're entitled to it. For me I watch the programs I actually want to watch, either through a recording or from the channel itself,or like right now I switch the TV off and enjoy the silence.
I don't know if Netflix has improved since then but when I had a 3 month free trial several years ago I honestly never watched one single program because has hard as I tried to find something of interest I couldn't find anything.

Well, I'm finding it difficult to understand what kind of programme you were looking for, then. Just looking through the Netflix Originals would give you a better choice than the terrestrials and pay tv.

Clearly, if your preference is sport, you wouldn't find anything, and if you prefer reality TV you would be better off with Hayu.

If it's quality dramas you were after, how could you miss stuff like The Crown, Bloodline, Travelers, Secret City, Seven Seconds, The Sinner, Queen of the South, Glitch, 13 Reasons Why, Ozark, House of Cards, Narcos, Mindhunter, Better Call Saul... ? The list goes on and on. Can you honestly tell me that you have as big a choice as that on the terrestrials and pay tv together, for which you are paying £40 or more when you can have all that for less than a tenner?

Have you really looked at the amazing choice on Netflix?
