Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
This is actually one of the most shocking referring decisions in a long time. Almost as shocking as Arsenal's performance.

Just as bad a start to a match as it was against Liverpool. I think Gibbs will win an appeal against the red card, but can the FA then pass the punishment onto the one who should have been shown the red card or will Chamberlain get away with it?

Maybe a good thing that the others don't have a good tan, then ref would have an issue on every foul

Arsenal need to make sure this doesn't get worse and then the story will the ref so we can avoid the crisis stories.

Can't believe this has happened twice in one season.

I don't believe it, the BBC scrolling web page commentary initially said Ox handled, then Gibbs was sent off. It has now edited it to read that Gibbs committed the handball.

Arsenal will escape because the ref screwed up. Arsenals lawyers if they decide to be an 'Arse' will legally screw The FA.

They'll just appeal the red card is all. Not much else they can do.

An appeal with reasons as to why theres an appeal. The FA will be in a sticky situation. Via their handbook they will have no other option than to instead punish the ref. Unless they trigger their complicated 'second review of incidents' rule. One that probably suits them down to the ground so Ox may well get a ban coming his way.
