Re: Football : Season 08/09
Good news for the red corner of CF. Ramon Calderon of Real Madrid has resigned.
He was pretty much alone in his crazy vendetta to bring Ronaldo to RM for £50m. I can now see Ronaldo staying at OT quite easily.

Or quite probably bad news, the new presidential candidates will make promises that have to be delivered upon, one will probably be to bring Ronaldo in, another might be to sign Fabregas

Not back at all Russ is it not the first time this season United have been top place?
Hopefully Liverpool and Chelsea will chase them all the way to the final day of the season at OT when Stevie G raises the champions trophy at the Stretford End

Yes if he gets parole
Anyway, excellent win for the Swansea yesterday, premier league football is looking more and more a possibility all the time

Will these mercenaries be able to challenge for europe? because I am sure the club owner will want that success for the outlay.
Thing is at the end of the day nobody is forcing players to join the club, they are willingly signing their names on the contracts.
But while some fans will not be happy with the money being splashed about I think a majority will welcome the challenge their team will give to the rest of the premiership but I feel more will welcome the challenge to their arch rivals in manchester.
If Chelsea is any barometer of what money does to a club it may be interesting.

That'll be Bellamy who the spuds tapped up and released info to the media about after being told he wasn't for sale, that's what makes me angry and I have news for you, we were never going to sell him to Tottenham anyway. The sad thing is we have probably done you a favour, he is poison, we tried to make him feel welcome, paid him a fortune and stood by him during his long periods out injured and this is how he repays us, he treated us like idiots with his interview at the start of the transfer window 'I love West Ham, it's up to the club if they have to sell me' etc well we didn't and the snivelling ego maniac went on strike!

That'll be because that postcode contains the highest percentage of Man U fans in the country.

don't think there is anyone who is a fan of Bellamy. He is a typical thug who is only average at the game anyway. He think is he is better than he is and because he has loads of money thinks he can do what he wants.
Some footballers manage to keep their feet on their ground but others let it all go to their head and think they can do what they like.
I'm sure Kaka is thrilled at the prospect of playing with Bellamy

Its exactly what Chelski did with Essien and Mikel when both of them had initially agreed to go to United.
Money talks and there is no honour in the Premier league, never has been.

I think part of the problem is to do with the agents. All they care about is how much of a cut they will get and if another club offers the agent a bigger cut then that is who the agent will tell the player to go to. Unfortunately the players don't seem to realise most of these agents don't have their best interests at heart.

Tosic pencilled in for a start against Derby tomorrow, along with both Da Silvas, Da Welbeck and Da Gibson.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
I'm quite glad City hijacked the deal to buy Bellamy. I've been on medication lately at the thought of Bellamy joining Spurs. I'll be breathing a sign of relief when he goes up north.
