Only a defender, and that has been our liability for a few years

Remember the clubs record against 'lesser' sides has significantly got much better

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Well done to lovely Wigan, it goes to prove that money cannot buy you everything.
Going onto the Spurs issue. I have been supporting Spurs since l was a kid, l am 62 now. Spurs have always been poor in the last section of anything, they try for.
I remember when they were going to sign Charlie George, Spurs gave him till the Monday to decide and he chose another club, just like Willian.
I am appalled by the decision to appoint Sherwood. Previous players that have also managed Spurs have all been sacked.
Sherwood, says that he loves the club, well he then must go back to his old job and let Levy bring in someone with the experience, and Gaal has that.
Its no good Sherwood giving his players a rollocking after the game, when Spurs went a couple down - why didn't he take off Lennon or Vertonghen and bring on Soldado - who is there golden boy.
Sherwood is a one hit wonder and has NO EXPERIENCE at running a big club like Spurs. Levy won't bring back Harry, Harry's head was on court business and also the England thingy, and we lost the points on Arsenal - thats why he was sacked.

Well you are big favourites now and if you can't win this then you won't win anything.

Wigan have just beaten City at their own stadium however. Arsenal need to be aware that this is a team that is up for it and confident they can do it....

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Wigan won't have to worry about Arsenal - they win anything this season.
Like the Arsenal of old.
I think that the surprise of the FA Cup is going to bring out a shock - Its Sheffield for me - why, this is what the FA Cup is - dreams, and the outsider is there.
I am going for its Sheffield for me, and dare l say it Chelsea for the PL title. And David Moyes to be sacked as manager of United.

Indeed Arsenal will settle for any win this season. Just like the Arsenal of old. The Arsenal of old who have won 2 of 13 top division league titles at White Hart Lane, the same amount of league titles, 2, that Tottenham have won in their entire history.
