Apparently he's stable and still in an induced coma.

The F1 chief executive was speaking at the AEK military hospital in central Budapest, having attended to check on the progress of Ferrari's Massa, who is in induced coma after being struck on the head by debris.

A hospital spokesman said: "He had suffered serious, life-threatening injuries including loss of consciousness and a fracture of the forehead on the left side and a fracture on the base of the skull. After the operation he is being cared for in intensive care and now he is in stable, satisfactory condition."

“After undergoing an operation yesterday afternoon, Felipe Massa's condition remains stable and there were no further complications through the night,” Ferrari said in a statement Sunday morning. “He will be given another CT scan today, which will provide more precise information.”

I`d also like to say i think Eddie Jordan was bang out of order saying "It was just a bump on the chin" without knowing the facts. Maybe next time he`ll think before shooting his mouth off (then again probably not).

OMG!!! Poor Alonso, pitted early, right front didn;t get put on correctly, brake cover flies off half way round and then he loses the wheel which goes bouncing off the track!!!

What a nice surprise that was

It seems like Mclaren and Brawn have swoped cars as the mp4-24 now looks pretty solid, not using only 3 wheels when going round corners and generally a nice stable car to drive. Whereas the Brawn BGP-001 is graining the tyres early, under-stearing like mad and off the leaders pace.

Has Bernie made sure it lasts the distance? I wonder.....

Renault have been suspended from the next grandprix in Valencia after they failed to attach the right front wheel properly in the pitstop, and then failed to tell the driver Alonso.

The pit crew failed to attach Alonso's right front wheel correctly and it bounced across the track.
Race stewards ruled that Renault released Alonso from a pit stop knowing the wheel was not properly secured and then failed to tell the driver.
Renault have told the FIA, motorsport's governing body, that they will appeal.

It says there he has received damage to his left eye and it's to early to say whether he will be able to race again.

I hope he makes a full recovery and is able to lead a normal life and return to the sport he loves.

I reckon that Barrichello will quit at the end of this season, after Saturdays Massa incident.
