Could it be Joey thinks he should have been selected ? As he's the biggest thug ever to set foot on a football field , with convictions for violence, probably best he wasn't. He's worse than the hooligans.

Seems russians are causing more trouble in Lille at this rate FIFA won't have a choice I know a few who had been planning to go to the world cup have now shelved their plans sad when football becomes a risk.

Re: England might get kicked off Europe sooner than we think
England fans were being ******s too. Deliberately trying to wind up French police with chants and then pelted bottles at them again.
Its exactly the same as a few days ago when both sets of fans were being absolute ****. What went on inside the stadium was pretty astonishing and lies solely on Russia but thua far both England and Russian fans have been tarred by pockets of ******s. All Uefa's silence does is confirm the shambles of an organisation they are. Empty threats no doubt, threatening disqualification that now serves literally no purpose given their group standing.

l am not excusing English fans as they are just as bad as the others but the British media always try to make out that is just the English that are the hooligans when in my opinion the vast majority of countries in Europe have hooligans within their midst..

Re: England might get kicked off Europe sooner than we think
The video of English fans throwing coins to refugees and mocking them is embarrasing. Its typical behaviour for Russians throughout but I can't help but think the media leaning toward England is because they expected better from a country that rid hooliganism from their domestic league.
Without corruption please tell me how anyone on this planet awarded Russia the world cup. I'd love to know what positive factors FIFA members came up with to counter the following.
- Rampant Hooliganism both domestic and abroad
- Persistent Racism both domestic and abroad as well as generally being an intolerant country full stop.
- Intolerance - Homophobia
- A generally corrupt country - Police etc.
Besides bribes, what could possibly be positive enough to select them as World Cup hosts?

l think most people now know that bribery was involved in awarding the World Cup to Russia and Qatar but the hardest thing is proving it.

I don't think you should really need such proof. I think the key points are enough to leave FIFA with no other plausible explanation in why they voted Russia to host a world cup. They haven't even tried to swing it either, they've just taken back handers and rigged it without diving into the above facts about Russian football and Russia as a nation. The same then applies to Qatar. Should we ever be hosting a World Cup in a country that fails to meet basic civilised laws of other countries in the world.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and even Brazil in its current state should be nowhere near a world cup. The world cup is meant for everyone, I see that but I honestly believe it should be set on a country that has standards and laws that match those of the travelling supporters or reflect on what those fans already understand. Hundreds of thousands of people will descend on Qatar and essentially be vacationing in a separate world to the rest of us. Thus far they've only violated every human rights law known to man though so we'll see how our World cup goes.
The solution for Russia is simple but they'll never act. A DQ at this stage is utterly dismal and hopeless. An actual message would be disqualifying them from the 2018 world cup. That would be hilarious and at the same time show that the governing bodies of football still have testicles.

Re: England might get kicked off Europe sooner than we think
Whilst l agree with your points there is diddly squat chance of the World Cup being taken away from Russia and Qatar in my opinion.
