Install went great, he only lives 2 roads away and he did a 10/10 job.

The boxsets are great and i've hardly watched Netflix or Prime since i got it. I'm not missing Tivo either.

Very tempting but I'd want the bt sport package on top (anyone know the cost of that) and would miss my tivo too much I think

Re: £3 TV increase but BT Sport Europe is "free"

Hmmm... tempted to change, not because I dont like Sport, bit purely cost wise ... if I can get all the channels I have now (bar BT etc) for £25, then I would be silly not to look into it.

The S*y website however only shows £5 off the bundle, so I must be looking in the wrong place !

Anyone know the broadband only costs with vm ? I’m already starting to think I could get over losing the tivo if I can make a significant saving

For 50Mb broadband and phone I'm currently paying £17.49 with various discounts applied to my account. I believe the price without discount is around £34.50. When I cancelled my VM TV I also wanted to cancel my telephone as I very rarely use it due to having a contract mobile, but if I did cancel my phone line then the adviser said I'd pay more (£19.99) so as it paid me to keep the phone then it may be the same for you.

Try the online chat option on the Sky website Mutley and they should offer it to you if you are willing to take it there and then. That's what John and I did.

I've just got a deal with them for 50Mb broadband for £7.50 per month + LR. So along with the Sky deal I got for £25 I'm now paying £32.50 + LR per month and lost BT Sport but gained loads of box sets, Sky Movies, Atlantic HD, Universal HD, Spike, etc.

I'm more than happy with that as whilst I'm a big football fan, I'll only miss the 1 EPL match per week on BT as I lost interest in the Champions League years ago when it stopped actually being 'champions' and became a money spinner.

The deals are out there if they meet your needs and you're willing to switch!

And that's why £3 extra sounds much better then nearly £24 extra.

I have BT Infinity , I opted for BT Starter TV and receive BT Sport free or £4 if I want HD seems a good deal to me.

But what you are missing is that Sky Atlantic is available through a Roku streaming stick, which includes Now TV. As far as I know, Roku has nothing whatsoever to do with Sky.

If you are still of the view that Sky is deliberately withholding the channel (despite the evidence I have just given), the link below may console you!

Ofcom said it will also consider new regulation of the pay-TV market to open up access to programming and protect competition in a bundled market, a move that could lead to further clashes with Sky. The company has battled the regulator through the courts for years over being forced to wholesale Sky Sports.

.
You just don't get it. Roku is just the conduit to you subscribing directly to Sky for Now TV.

Sky haven't sold it to Roku, who are then selling it to you.
