It can't cost much, if anything, just to connect to some foreign channels off the internet. Also, the M pack is supposed to broadly cover Freeview, yet some free internet delivered channels are available on the Freeview platform.

 | Pretty sure there is a little more to it than that Richard !

If most channels were supplied on the "M" pack, what incentive is there for Virgin to make some money from people upgrading to "Big Kahuna" ?

 | Cheers MB, I know you can't say anything but I am guessing you have been given the Sky News HD and SSN HD launch dates.

An source think they may launch sometime next week (January 6th - January 8th).

 | Are you able to tell us what the DNP covers? For e.g Possible channel launch, Tivo Updates or Bundle changes?

It will still leave people pondering and guessing what it could be.

 | Blimey, happy to be wrong with my thoughts there. Hopefully it will be Netflix being bundled in with XL.

Perhaps OB will be right. I severely doubt it, but you never know!!

Let the speculation begin. |

Let the speculation begin. | haha this is why i love the DNP info for the speculation! its usually never as good as what we speculate! if it is netflix and i already have an account i'm paying to i wonder how that works...

i'm guessing whatever happens its a sweetner for us to make us feel happier before the february increases!

 | Yeah, given the email I had some time back, I think there will be some form of sweetner(s) before the rises. Quite what that/they may or may not be will interesting.

If we do get free netflix, I imagine Netflix or VM will have all the details of the relevant people who took up the 6 month deal (I believe everyone got a unique promo code) and they can sort out the details from their ends. Quite what they will do for existing customers is beyond me, perhaps they will just issue a promo code (agreed with Netflix) to those who request it.

Still, this is all speculation. I know MB is pretty reliable but, we may not get anything.

Lets hope (if we get anything) it is something the vast majority can enjoy. |

 | Hahaha I was thinking the same thing...So much hush hush around the DNP and it usually ends up being something rubbish...a total anti-climax

But this is why we love them...Good Work, MB
The Netflix theory would actually be something decent from VM
