Re: 30mb to 60mb
The two dont neccessarily go hand in hand. You obviously need the bonded channels in place before you get a speed increase but both wont happen at the same time. I switched to 2 upstream channels last month but i am not expexting to see the 2mbit speed increase till March time if that

Re: 30mb to 60mb
I didn't. Lincoln has always been middle of the pack for upgrades over the years and as we are defo no on the list to be done before xmas but our upstream bonding has been enabled, I am assuming we'll be done after xmas but before summer.

Re: 30mb to 60mb
so you are going to way behind. As they did our upstream in October I am expecting the upload increase soon. I don't understand why they havent done it already if the capacity is now in place.

Re: 30mb to 60mb
Isn't it great the way they let you know when you've been upgraded. I just thought I'd check to see when it was to be done and it said your up and running. Tried Speedtest.net, still said 30. Rebooted Shub retried up to 60. Would have been nice to get just a phone call or email to let me know, it could have been weeks before I need to reboot.

Re: 30mb to 60mb
I ended up calling retentions about another matter (getting Tivo and HD box installed at the same time so thought might as well ask about the upgrade) had to take a couple of power line adapters and a rubbish old router out of the loop to get full speed - meant running a CAT5 up the outside wall lol.
One thing I did notice before the upgrade was a link to do the upgrade in My Virgin Media, I would have thought it would be automatic but apparently not.
