Yep.

This is other reason why VM should do a app:
http://www.ispreview.co.uk/story/201...t-traffic.html

32% of Netflix streams are delivered using VM's broadband.

“We’re launching with a handful (of apps); within 12 months, we’ll have hundreds. We needed to start with the household names.” But the system is not yet so open that there is a software developers kit, nor a sense of what criteria for third parties’ admission should be - that will come in 2011.

FilmFlex is still the primary movie VOD partner going through Virgin - but Rose says that’s not prohibitive to someone like Lovefilm: “It would have to be the right deal commercially and add value. If Lovefilm came along and said ‘we’ve got something that adds to this’, we’d be the first ones to embrace them - we’re not precious about that.

Re: Netflix OMG OMG OMG OMG

For anyone here that does have Netflix if you google "Unblock US" you can get access to the American version of Netflix.

So that means newer movies like IronMan 2 in HD with 5.1 sound for £6 a month. Also there TV catalogue is massive and amazing. Of course using "Unblock US" means changing your DNS so it wont be any use on the TiVo version of Netflix.

But if you already have Netflix the American version is absolutely light years ahead. TiVo and Lovefilm suddenly look very very outdated. Its like comparing buying a CD to purchasing from iTUNES.

It would be good if we got Netflix on TiVo though... more choice is always good

I remember in the early 1980's my dad telling my Vinyl was infinitely better than CD's.............

I don't see in the connected/digital age how a CD is "infinitely" better than an iTunes library? Got ya iPhone? got ya iPad? got iTunes? you content is available ANYWHERE.

Unless you enjoy carrying 300 CD's with you everywhere you go. An with iCloud all sync'd I don't know how I lived without it.

To be fair I can see both sides of the argument , the one thing to remember is with a CD you can still import it into ITunes or other portable devices.

Exactly and our family still have all our CD's and have no intention of getting rid of them as there is still nothing like a physical copy of something.

What a load of rubbish. Virgin Media still use Filmflex and Picturebox.

If you use iTunes Match then you don't have to upload anything at all. iTunes just scans your library and matches it against 20 million+ songs held on Apples servers.
