If it's anything like the WWE games, then yeah I would think you can unlock them as you go through the game.

Also, I wonder if Tesco will offer any of this special collectors stuff to pre orders? Hope so as I paid a deposit on it already.

I see the special edition is a GAME exclusive amd the collectors edition is about £120.

Whether they'll admit it or not, Microsoft and Sony are scared GTA V will hurt the release of the next gen consoles due to only being available on current gen machines, the same applies vice versa but the first is more likely.
This is a game that certainly packs that kind of punch and will likely break every entertainment launch record out there and continue into the year.

re: GTA V (360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, PC)
I would think as it now just 3 months away from release for the PS3 and 360 it would be too late to start trying to develop it for the new gen consoles. Hoping it is as good as the trailers make it sound and look, as I will be disappointed if it is a total flop.
Saying that, Rockstar games seem to be unusual in that they wait for the errors and bugs to be ironed out, unlike EA Sports who released FIFA 13 with bugs galore in it. I've never had a bug in a GTA game, or indeed with any Rockstar game.

It'll probably come to the new Xbox and PS4, arouind the same time as it's ported to PC

We don't want a port on next-gen though.. what's the point. No backwards compatibility granted but I'm not paying £50 for the same game twice. The PC version will release 6mths-1year after the console release. It's a port no doubt about that.
If GTA V released on next-gen I actually want to see the technology being used, the potential is huge and unless Rockstar have been secretly developing a NG version then I can't see them doing it in the space of a year considering the process from GTA IV - V. I originally believed Rockstar had been developing a NG version but it seems not.

All they do is scale things up, render at 1080p, longer draw distance, HQ textures, etc. Nothing wrong with ports done well.

Already looks like one of the greatest games of all time if not the greatest. Blew away almost everything shown at E3.
Battlefield and CoD kindly move over, GTA V and Watchdogs just wiped the floor with you.

Then there is like another year to go. I had this same experience with GTA IV, it felt like a hundred years despite only being a week away!
