Re: Should Peter Hain resign?

How do you forget about donations that amounted to over half your total fund for fighting the campaign you started to obtain a position. This is completely ridiculous and shouldn't even be up for debate the guy should go.

I am honestly staggered that after everything that has happened regarding funding that any politician let alone one that is supposed to be savvy could be so ignorant and if for no other reason he should go for that.

Gordon Brown is making yet another mistake in backing him in anyway shape or form and yet again manages to tell us a lot about him as a PM without doing bugger all.

Re: Should Peter Hain resign?

It's a very close call so far folks - with only 100% of vote participants suggesting he should resign.

Keep up the (democratic) good work.

Hmm, lamb to the slaughter then to show the government are really tough on such things, while hoping no one asks "If Hain was thrown to the police, why weren't the others?"

Very true Xac.

Elsewhere, I liked this comment:

Re: Should Peter Hain resign?

Does this mean they will also re-investigate the bank robbery he was charged with in the 70's?
