The same thing happened last year with ESPNHD, $KY announced the carriage deal but VM stayed silent until they suddenly trumped $KY by saying they have secured the deal to offer it free to XL. It could be that VM are working for the same thing.

I contacted ESPN by email some time ago who replied saying they were in talks with Virgin but talks hadnt progressed far enough to make an announcement.

i dont think ESPN America HD is not on sky yet went to my brothers this morning he cart have viring werer he lives so he got sky hd we was talking about ESPN America HD come to sky today he put he sky boxs on know ESPN America HD ? he just phone me saying still know ESPN America HD ?

Not come on yet on Sky but should do sometime this afternoon.

Wow thanks for the info media boy hope this happens I love my American Sport. Hope its free on XL. Does make sense from ESPN's point of view.

NME Radio to close at midnight on Tuesday.

From tomorrow night at midnight Radio Channel NME (channel 975) will cease broadcasting.

Well i would imagine sky sports hd would arrive around july/beginning of august time so i would guess others will follow suit but i prob completely wrong.

Sky, Virgin Media and BT are all appealing the judgement and a case hearing at the Competition Appeal Tribunal will take place next Friday (25 June).

Great news, I love American sports as long as we get it in time for the College football season I will be happy.
