Different players really. Hazard is more of an attacking midfielder or winger than creative play-maker. More of a Messi than a Xavi, more of a Ronaldo than a Scholes. He is closer to a RVP style player than a Wilshere style. (I could go on!).

Anyway according to the Mirror Manchester City are 'closing in' on RVP:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...-persie-833012
£250,000 a week. They already have 4 expensive strikers but they want more! It really is a case of not being happy with what they have if they can deprive their rivals, if Arsenal could even be called that anymore, good players. Same with Hazard, whilst he is a great player they spent £25 million on Nasri last year and they have David Silva so why Hazard? To stop United getting him. They are buying up all the talent they can with a limitless supply of cash to remove any chance of competition to them.
I would rather RVP goes to United than City then at least someone could, maybe, compete with them.

Koptalk sources claim Kenny Dalglish has been axed by FSG.

The sources of this particular site are a mixture of blatant likes, speculation with varying degrees of likelihood and regurgitated twitter comments from the usual attention seekers. Wonder if Dunk's finished his book yet
But would anyone be surprised if Kenny was moved on? I doubt it.

You sure you are not getting confused with keeping the Glazers.

Well so far we have had one manager sacked on the first day after the Premiership season has finished so nothing would surprise me at all if King Kenny is moved on or moved upstairs.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
So if Chelsea win the CL, will Chelsea have to play the qualifying round or will Arsenal have to?

You seem to have a keen interest in Liverpool today and perhaps you should be saying we want RVP to stay.

If Chelsea win the CL Tottenham will get pushed out into the Europa League. City, Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea will go straight into the CL, no play offs
