As of an hour ago, I am no longer employed. It's my own fault, I can blame nobody but myself. I feel like such a failure though.

Sent you a PM, Mark
I have not been well at all lately so after repeated blood tests it has now been confirmed that my thyroid needs testing again in two months as it is looking like I could have an underactive thyroid that could be causing the weight gain, then if that was not enough I'm now going through the menopause and HRT is not an option this may also be causing the weight gain then if this is not enough my Crohns is being badly affected by the changes my body is going through.
After being called into the practice to see the nurse on Tuesday in where I was given a prescription for Kliofem (HRT) by the nurse at my GP Practice and just when I thought things would get better I got a call from the receptionist the very next day to ask me if I had started this treatment and when I said yes I started HRT yesterday and I have taken two she then said that I need to stop HRT immediately and could not say why but that I needed to come and see the doctor as an emergency appointment in where I was informed HRT was not an option giving my medical background blah blah blah
I'm just so fed up gained a lot of weight, not sleeping to good, still being sick most day's and don't get me started on the hot flushes so there you have it I feel and look like total crap tbh

My new RT-AC88U is a pile of poo ATM.
Its not playing ball and I get no 2.4GHz wifi downstairs.
Yet my old RT-N66U gave a strong signal.
Hopefully the thread I started will be helpful before I decide to return it or not.

on the post I started it looks like a fireware screwup.
I'm looking at roll back or use Merlin.

The hole's still there...
Some 'workmen' could come along occasionally, look at each other confused and have a heated debate, then go ! I'm reminded of a Bernard Cribbins song https://youtu.be/yShvgXZQBTs

Reminds me of Nynex days when the pavements had a linear trench in them for several months!

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Yesterday my Niece and a friend went to the Hammersith Apollo to see Halsey, but because of her anorexia she wanted to be nearby and she wnet with her.
I wnet along with my sister to keep her company, and even saw the film "King of Thieves".
I had to go to the Rik Mayall bench.
Anyway after the concert they met up with us outside at about 11:10pm, Hammersmith tube was heaving so we walked to anoth tube and got on it.
We got to Mile End then went across to the central line to get a tube to Epping were my car was.
Over the tannoy came that there were no more tubes running east, BUGGER.
So we had to try and work out what the hell to do, we got a night bus to Stratford and got the at 1:05am.
We had to pay a black cab £50 (it was more but he kept it at £50), and after dropping my sister and co off I climbed into my welcoming bed at 1:45am.
The at 6:30am my alarm wnet of for work, it didn't help that I couldn't sleep as I think I was over tied and couldn't turn off.
But I booked the afternoon off and had a kip.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
I hate the Apollo for the same reason as I need to get to the East End of the central line as well and it takes ages, you essentially have to cross the entire city at a time when you really can't be bothered.
There aren't that many medium venues in London and hardly any in East London. You have the O2 but that's too big for a lot of acts.
I am guessing you went too late to be able to get the overground from Liverpool Street to Chingford?

Had new bed delivered today to go in smallest bedroom. Just started on fixing the slats in and screwdriver decides it needs recharging. I blame my daughter as she was the last to use it!

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Small chest freezer is dying. It was struggling over the summer and now cannot hold the temperature down. It's running but not properly freezing. 35+ years of faithful service.
I'm transferring the stuff to an upright unit that I have as a backup. Not sure I can get all the stuff in.
There's a lot of ice in it so maybe it just needs defrosting. Fingers crossed.
