hahaha i dont know if you're trying to cause offence to me with that comment or not as i never see it myself but yes i do when i get in from work. im 28 years old, i'm single, i live in my mums boxroom and when i'm not out having a few post work drinks i'm sat in my small boxroom on the computer on the internet or playing football manager watching my Tivo. So yes in answer to your question i do often just spend all day watching TV.

In answer to your first question of the channels I want media boy to one day announce so i can dance about:

Sky Atlantic
Sky Atlantic HD
Universal channel HD
Sumo TV
My Channel
Sky 3D
Luxury Life
Discovery travel and living
Horse and country
Men and Movies
Sony Movie channel
The other SKy sports HD channels
Trace Sports
Animal and Nat Geo wild HD
History HD
Crime and investigation HD
Sky News HD
Fox News
RT and RT HD
VOX africa
CNC World

Or to make this list easier anything on this link http://www.cable.co.uk/guides/sky-tv...a-tv-channels/ just purely for the fact i enjoy getting new channels even if i only watch them for 5 minutes and i want to spite sky by getting everything theyve got like a child.

Fortunately it's a great TV without the 3D so not too much of a waste. Just my opinion.
We like our 3D and watch any content on TV or Blu-Ray,not to much faffing around putting a disc in the player putting on glasses and pushing a couple of buttons

I think the list of Sky vs Virgin needs updating a bit. We now have Animal Planet and Nat Geo Wild HD, and Sky now has Film4 HD.

Virgin and its predecessors were the original leaders in developing on demand services, but now seem seriously to be lagging both Sky and other platforms.

OK, I know that at lot of UKTV content is old stuff, and also that shows may be repeated several times if you don't manage to record them, but there is now much more original material than there used to be.

Speculation suggests that the cost could not be justified because the content is often repeated and some of the programmes are available on the iplayer anyway. Maybe the new owners will have a change of heart??

VM are going to be concentrating more on on demand content throughout 2014 and 2015. UKTV is expected to be amongst the new deals being negotiated, AMC also is rumoured to be interested too.
It's expected upto 15 new OD providers to be added to the VM platform throughout 2014. I have no idea who they are at the moment but once i get infor be it concrete or rumoured i will ofcourse post here

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV 2014

Just received the latest Virgin Media mailshot:

Noticed that the VIP Collection is not being advertised in their Collections. The booklet is 18 pages long, and the VIP Collection is not mentioned anywhere at all.

Are the days of the VIP Collection numbered?

Noticed that Virgin Media are displaying that simple and flat logo in all their advertising now.
Will this replace the current glossy logo, or just for advertising?

Maybe it's because this is the January sale brochure and VIP isn't part of the Januay sale?

Though it's part of the sale here:
