Re: Football talk
Interesting words from Gullit, and I think I am inclined to agree with him.
Shearer seems to think its all about him and not the team he plays for, maybe its just as well he snubbed man utd.

1 x Dutch Cup : 1983-84
3 x Serie A Championship : 1987-1988, 1991-1992, 1992-1993
1 x Italian Cup : 1993-94
2 x European Cup : 1988-1989, 1989-1990
2 x European Super Cup : 1989, 1990
2 x Intercontinental Cup : 1989, 1990

1 x European Championship : 1988
1 x European Footballer of the Year : 1987
2 x World Soccer Player of the Year : 1987, 1989
As a manager:
Dutchman Ruud Gullit became the first overseas coach to win the FA Cup, with Chelsea
in 1997

Re: Football talk
So you'll have no difficulty knocking the Gooners out in the semis for us then
Sunderland v United final, like the sound of that

Nah....I'd much rather see you's play Arsenal in the semi's, and us play Tranmere in the semi's for revenge - it was them who we played a few years back, and they had a player sent off for a second bookable offence, whom they then decided they'd substitute, and still had 11 players on the field - unbelievable....
I'd rather have you's in the final than Arsenal, anyday .....We just gotta wait till tomorrow afternoon for the draw now - why aint it after the last match on a sunday anymore ?

Re: Football talk
yes, the chance to beat the gooners two times in a week!
She wore, she wore, she wore a scarlet ribbon,
She wore a scarlet ribbon in the merry month of may,
And when, I asked, her why she wore that ribbon,
She said it's for United, and we're going to Wembley.
Wembley, Wembley,
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wembley.
HHHMMMM it just doesn't have the same ring when you replace Wembley with Millennium Stadium.
