Re: The what are you drinking now thread
Just been out to a gin tasting at a local restaurant - it was Manchester Gin (brave in Leeds).
We tried the Signature in a spritzer, which was very refreshing, then Wild Spirit with Fever Tree tonic, Raspberry Infusion with Fever Tree Elderberry Tonic, and Overboard (Navy Strength 57.3%) with Fever Tree Tonic (having tried them all on their own first as a "sipping" drink.
Bought a bottle of the Wild Spirit to take home, to keep our other 6 bottles of Gin company.
Very nice indeed - should sleep well tonight...

Re: The what are you drinking now thread
I don't even know how to put this into words, so here is a picture:
Gross.jpg
Back story: Friend comes over and brings me Jolly Ranchers. (Much easier to get overseas).
Hubby buys in 10K bottle of vodka, starts floating JR's in the vodka.
They melt, he adds sugar and honey and mangles it even more.
Presents me with it, I mangle him.
Moral of the story, anyone?
(That's what I tried a sip of, last night).

I didn't ask him to make it for me in the first place!
He just presented me with it as if he was a cat that killed some animal in the garden...
Grrrr.
