The ball has a bell in it - simple as that, mind you I was crap before but I did manage to return the ball a couple of times
There is a video - and it may turn up on you tube at some point, when I'm feeling a bit more fluffy

After swearing off it because I couldn't be trusted not to lamp the nearest ned who annoyed me the thought of seeing the Roses live when a ticket came my way couldn't be missed.
