Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Just been watching the Chilean Primera division game between O'Higgins and Palestino. That young lad Cuevas who Chelsea are after was sent off after being on the pitch for 15 minutes as he tried to boot the ball from under one of their defenders (and ended up kicking him in the ribs)... hmmmmm
No ball boys were harmed in the course of this experiment.

Was some really dubious refereeing on the night and fans made it known they were annoyed by raining down toilet rolls and flares and smoke bombs which you couldn't see on TV, idiotic behavior nonetheless when the majority of flares were hitting fellow supporters.
The game itself was just poor all around, Wigan vs Stoke would have been a better watch. 2 goals ruled incorrectly offside but they were no excuse for Pa**** Cisse missing time after time. He spent the majority of the night offside and when the rare occasion popped up that he was onside, he simply didn't make a run or an effort to get through on goal. Plenty of diving going on throughout the night mainly from the Ukrainian opposition but a notable shout to Shola Ameobi for his attempt to win a penalty late on, going down via a tap on the shoulder.

Arsenals possible double swoop for Valdes and Villa in the summer
http://www.mundodeportivo.com/201302...366792063.html
Fabianski gone in the summer. Valdes would make a real decent backup keeper.

Both players are ageing though as Villa is 31 and Valdes is the same age as well.

yup, fees paid for services would no doubt be low with no sell on value but theres no questioning the quality they have

Why not Valdes as No.1, or are you getting another keeper in that I haven't read about?

1/2 that to 8.5mil and its a deal not sure tbh, we'll have to wait and see what happens. Villa 'apparently' wants a move in the summer but that could mean anything
