Anyway food luck DF and others, and maybe one day you'll be able to tell us what you think/feel without looking over your shoulder

Without trying to turn this into too much of an argument, overall they aren't letting people go. Although Liverpool is going, I believe around the same number of people will be recruited at Swansea

Yes, Swansea is taking on faults staff and will probably have about the same amount as Liverpool/Swansea had previously.
Manchester is taking staff on after the closure of the old Virgin Mobile site in Trowbridge.

No, they will actually be on better wages than IBM paid the Liverpool staff.

That's correct. The closure of Liverpool is just a cost saving exercise for VM. The Swansea site was under used and Liverpool was expensive.

Actually the terms and conditions are worse as it includes Sunday, Christmas and New Year openings, later opening times and less money than I was on for the same position.
The was the option of applying for a position down there but unless you are single or quite stupid it was never a real option for the majority of agents who have lives and mortgages in Merseyside area.
The new 2nd line are none to hot either, just try reading some of the responses on the community forum from the new names on there.

Yes thankyou, you were correct. Cancelled V+HD Triple XL with Caller Display. Bill had crept up to nearly £70 a month. For what we were using it for it wasn't value for money.
We were 10 months into an 18 month contract, the women at retentions tried to charge us £140 to leave the contract early but mentioned price change clause, and she waived the charge for all 3 services.
Instead we have ordered Sky broadband unlimited upto 20mb, unlimited anytime calls and free caller display for £17.25 a month for the first six months and then £27.25 thereafter, with £100 Quidco cashback which nearly pays the price of a Freeview+ HD box for some HDTV and recording.
