Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Someone at CS this morning said I'll need a new Samsung box to upgrade to the new speeds and these can't be delivered until 5th April. Ah well there you go, if this is kosher then fine, I'll wait patiently and twiddle my thumbs until the big day.

If the info i have is correct then you will not have to wait anyware near that long. Hint
and please dont everyone start asking me when they will be done. I know for that area as i was dealing with a problem there this morning.

I've been upgraded to 3mb in Belfast, but i'm not getting the full speed, usually about 2.6mb. No doubt there will be some teething troubles for a few days/weeks while it all gets sorted out.

Were you automatically upgraded or did you upgrade online, I live in Belfast but I haven't got home form college yet to see if I have the 3Mb yet.

I did it manually, online. It reset the modem within seconds, all very easy.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Just called tech sup. A helpful tech talked me through upgrading on the NTLworld site via the My Accounts option. It came up with an error that seemed to surprise him. He told me to call back in a week if it hasn't happened automatically.
I just tried again on the NTLWorld page and it worked...but only if you tick the T&C box.
Now on 2Mb in Hemel Hempstead. I dont know what area that is for the vote in case anyone can enlighten me.
**apparently I am in Langley...and I have voted.
