Sadly he is in plaster now as his foot is broken and he is out of action for 8 weeks and he only started his new job yesterday.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Work changing my job at the last minute and I wasn't going to confirm the new job because I hate the chain. But they confirmed it for me. Are they allowed to do that? I know I confirmed doing this Sunday for a different store, so they think that we will do this other job. But surely we can decide if we do this new one.

It is the worse I have seen it for years, I have just been staying indoors as we have plenty food to keep us going, but it is a long day, Glasgows Grand Ole Opry is closed tonight and Saturday as it would be empty and the Bands cannot get their either, Just have to watch my country videos,

Sorry to hear this den I hope your brothers new employer understands and his job is safe. Fingers crossed all goes well
Phone call from my GP yesterday and my blood test came back
I'm low in folic acid, hubby will pick up my prescription today. At least now I know the reason for feeling so tired etc as I honestly felt like a fake, I have no energy and for no reason at all my heart suddenly feels at times like it was going to come out my chest it beats so fast.
I hate this being ill and I can't believe just how much my life has changed since getting this horrid illness.

As many of us know life can turn in a instance nash so my advice is to enjoy our lives as much as we can because one never knows what is around the corner.

Still no buses in many parts of the city because "there has not been enough traffic to make the grit work on bus routes".
But they are telling us not to make unnecessary road trips but to use public transport instead!

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
People who believe what they want to believe despite the proof before them, one can never win and the option I now choose for my own sanity is to rise above these challenges before me and not dwell on what I can't change
No point in arguing with someone whom has a closed mind and just seems incapable of seeing the facts before them!
I no longer get upset by this, I just pity their way of life especially when they wonder why my boy's have no time for them as they refuse to visit him that is something else I have accepted although very sad nothing I can do about it, I can only suggest as I do on many occasions that they come with me despite knowing what the answer will be and that is a polite no Mum.

Stay strong weenie. You have come so far and proved yourself to be a far stonger person than I suspect you ever imagined.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Yes I have Jo, in fact just yesterday hubby said that I no longer need someone speaking for me and he is so very proud on the way I have handled things and admires me in taking advice in where I found the strength within me, the way I have changed totally benefits me and mine and maybe I should I have taken these steps long ago but I can't change what's been done, the past is the past and as I have been told it is ok to glance back but just glance and don't dwell on it believe me this was the best advice given.
My sister is telling my Dad that she thinks I'm acting up and using my illness while this may have bothered me to the point of being totally miserable and crying. Where as I'm now at the point of actually laughing at how bizarre her views are along with the fact my Dad either believing them or having doubt on what I'm saying but that is not my problem as I can't change what he chooses to believe.
What I just do not understand how they think even I can fake blood tests, mri scan, crp level etc.
All I'm saying I must be far smarter than I realised LOL plus if she thinks this will either guilt trip me into jumping when jump is shouted or withdrawing myself from my Dad and jeopardising the relationship we now have then she will be disappointed on both accounts. The day's of me jumping for any ones attention are long gone I'm pleased to say.
The problem here is I now say no to my Dad which now put's pressure on her to either do or don't.
My Dad has now accepted the new me something I don't think she can as you know I have totally blocked her out my life and that is the problem she can no longer use her tried and tested variety of manipulation techniques any longer with me and I truly believe that is the real problem not me being ill, plus she knows nothing about me or mine the only thing she knows about me and my family is what my Dad chooses to tell her and trust me I only let my Dad know things now on a need to know basis and have done for a number of months now.
