Don't think SAF is deluded about the state of the team at all, he knows he has to spend big money to compete and it's not being made available, I respect him more now doing the job he has for the last few years than I ever did before when he was the one spending all the cash.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
I think United will win or draw tonight. Ferguson has done an outstanding job getting this team to where they are, it's frankly absurd that he should be questioned at all. He has more than proved that he isn't only the best manager in the world but will be remembered as one of the best in history, if not the best.

AS a Man Utd fan i am so nervous about tonight. Fergie is the best British manager of all time. No manager will be at 1 single club for the amount of time he has been at Utd

Guy Roux was at Auxerre for a longer time. Get your point however.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
So Roy Hodgson is about to become the England manager
Glad we had one Englishman stupid enough to take the job.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
My view is the FA made this a mess, and probasbly affected Tootenham's chances for 3rd or 4th.
They could easily have sorted this earlier.

I don't think so. They would have disrupted West Brom's season with any suggestion that Harry might not be their manager. They kept quiet and said they would make an approach at the end of the season and that there was more than one candidate.

Utd seem to be interested in nearly the whole of the Athletic Bilbao squad. Gaitan is done apparently.
