Re: World Cup 2014
Thierry Henry said what he does off the ball goes unnoticed. Not sure if that applies in these games. He was though doing something useful in games building up to the WC.

Re: World Cup 2014
What is making me laugh is at the way England are supporting Rooney, and asking people not to blast him.
I think personally, that It should be Defoe out there, not just as a ex spurs player, but because he can score goals.
Hodgson must have the bottle to drop him. Thursday's game is the most important game the team has, its like a Cup Final, we have to win it to basically stay in the World Cup.
With such an important game Rooney, is likely to explode and get himself sent off.
Sorry guys, thats my own opionon

Re: World Cup 2014
Rooney played crap because he is not being played in his natural position. It's like swapping Hart and Gerrard around, it just doesn't work. What is it with England managers that they seem to be tactically inept.

If it was me and this might upset MU fans l would have dropped him quite a while back as he has never delivered for England at the WC finals and all we get to the build up to these bloody matches is talk about Rooney all the time and even Gary Neville yesterday seem obsessed with him.
