In fact you are correct i will.
But i wonder how long it would be before the name callers would be on the phone to ntl if a ntl person called them a monkey or muppet. Gee i can hear it now. Hello NTL i was called a muppet by one of your staff now what you going to do about it.

A lot of recent discussion has been based on a media presentation made around the end of November which included proposed implementations for the coming twelve months. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would realise that plans can be changed at any time to take account of competitors changes to their products. Nothing is set in stone until the final hour. It is easy for someone to come along and post that they have inside information on things like whether the admin fee will be applied or not. They have a fifty-fifty chance of being right and can brag about how good their informant is if they do get it right or slink silently into the darkness if they get it wrong. My own feeling is that anyone within NTL who has information that hasn't been released would be in such an high position that they wouldn't risk the consequences of being found to have disclosed it.

this topic should be locked until NTL actually announce the speed upgrades. all this pointless crap throwing and willy waving is getting stupid and enlightens no one. NTL are upgrading speeds. Let's wait for them to announce this to everyone before we're all subjected to stupid rumours and unprovable "facts".

No, speed increases and caps are topics that affect all broadband users all the time and are worthy of discussion although I would agree that much of the discussion goes around in circles. Most members can sort the wheat from the chaff and work out who are the real muppets on here and what the most likely outcome will be. If anyone isn't interested in the thread they have no need to look at it.

Do i take it then that you think its ok to call someone even when you have not met them and that they had nothing to do with your problem.
