I'd prefer Vassell in the first team than him. Vassell does actually do something when he plays for England.

Alright - I'm obviously biased when it comes to Vassell, but that's got to be the unluckiest timing ever . He goes through a decades long inability to score (at least it felt like it ), and when he finally hits form, he has to withdraw!!

Also, when it comes to Heskey, I think that the reason he keeps getting picked is because, if it's desperately needed, he can play in midfield (personally, I think he did well when Rooney and Owen were up front, and he played on the wing - just IMO, of course

Particularly bearing in mind that, when you take into account the yellow card he got for diving, it's going to be a 5 match ban.

That has to go down as the most pathetic attempt at a dive since Peter Kay in the John Smiths advert, it was so bad it deserved a red for the dive alone.

Actually have to give McBananananamamanan some credit, at least he didn't go down in a big girly heap like some of these Spanish players do, eg the one that get "hit" by Zindane couldn't have been more theatrical
