Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Does any of our regular Virgin employee posters know what is happening with BoxNation. Seems everyone has access just now. Is this an unadvertised free period, is it a Tickle or is it just an error? Any info would be great.

Not sure, it's subscription only AFAIK, no freeviews.

Free-to-air BoxNation for me now... enjoying it.

Do you mean literally FTA ie you don't need your card in to view it, or free for VM subscribers on all packages?
Would you mind taking your card out to check if you haven't already?
Is anyone on the TV M pack getting Box Nation unencrypted?
I believe the channel encrypted yesterday evening on Sky.

I'll maybe have a look when I don't have a bunch of things recording, but judging from my experiences running a VM STB without a card in you get almost no channels even regular free-to-air ones you'd find on Freeview or Freesat. It's not much use!
Come to think of it, us all discussing it means if it is a mistake then it's more likely to be corrected quickly. Maybe we should have kept it under our collective hats.

Thanks, but HD Boy has now tried it and it's not viewable without a card, so it must be encrypted, I wonder if TV M customers can receive it?
I hope you'll be able to watch your recordings when the channel encrypts. I know that VM are to/have started this for the Sky movie and sports channels in line with Sky policy, there again Box Nation is not a Sky channel, so who knows!
It might be an idea to watch your recordings ASAP...

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Its all still very vague, we know that if Virgin can get HD channels on their terms they will and all the fancy terminolgy doesn't change the fact it has to be on their terms.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
According to the December edition of Electric, the downloadable channel guide is listed as November 2011, the only new channel mentioned is PBS.
So where is December's list?
Has it been made up?
