Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
If anybody is interested thanks to a very nice woman at CS called Catherine I've now managed to change from 1.5Mb to 2Mb in the NG17 area of Nottingham. Possibly the quickest call I've ever had to NTL CS.
Apparently the free upgrades to 3mb had already gone through but now I'm going to save money
Just need to get home to check speeds now.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
I'm trying to test out my speed... can anyone access http://www.apple.com/trailers ? I'm getting a 404
:edit: seems the proxy I was on is knackered, can anyone from NTL look into pete-cache-4.server.ntli.net?

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Can't get the link to work - keeps saying that it cant get my MAC address and my username and password are 100% correct as I've checked. Got them to send me an email with my details in.
Annoying to say the least.

it works on mine and I'm behind a linksys router - as handyman says you must get the password and user name right or it dont work. my user name worked when I added @ntlworld.com to it.
