Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
No point - none of the English will pick up on it
To be fair I did try to move things on with post 429

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
I know things are looking a little beter now, but Villa's goal.... how can Luke Moore, walk from inside the United goal, right in front of VDS as the ball comes in and not be active.
PS. Whats up with Ronaldo & Vidic?
Jim.

It was strange because VDS didn't seem to appeal, i thought when he headed it Young was right between VDS and the scorer? But what a first half comeback
Ronaldo travlled a lot during the International week and picked up a small knock and Vidic still hasn't recovered from concussion that he got against Wigan.

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
Oops,I think it was Luke Moore, not Young.
The Villa defence was playing a game of Statues in the first half,
jim.

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
High drama at Villa Park - they're down to 9 men, Rooney missed a penalty and it looks like more goals are coming.

Lehmann's got a strop on...
IMO he deserved to be dropped & Almunia's doing the job for them at the moment

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
Someone sent me this and i can't think of the answer, i'm not sure if there is an answer to be honest.
Which is the ONLY current premiership player to have won medals in:
World Cup
European Cup
FA Cup
Champions League
Premiership
Confederations Cup
Intertoto Cup
At the moment i can only think of Anelka but i'm sure he hasn't got a medal in the world cup.
Any ideas?
