No delay - they haven't even announced a date yet.

So will it be soon then? Is there already a date set?

Re: BMR When?
Well the speed increase is late summer, so I guess BMR will be mid summer

I take that as a pretty big clue. Remember, they can't give exact dates out unless the information has been released to CS.

Re: BMR When?
Guys, don't you realise how crap "BMR" and "MR2" and so forth are as names? They're meaningless to any newcomers, and out-of-date as soon as the release happens.
And in any case, there won't be an announcement until the first download is sent out. That is the NTL way.

Re: BMR When?
I told you the new names won't catch on. I know the next Bromley upgrade as BCR3, with other members saying BMR and MR2 so I can guess why people get confused.

Yeah, and from what you've said, it doesn't bother you, so why are you even posting on here about it? You're not contributing anything so pipe down. Oh and for your information, I've more or less started all the threads about sound issues for the last eight months.
a) couldn't give a toss what it's called.
b) get on with it.
c) if in any doubt, see b.
d) if you have nothing to add, don't bother.

Well I feel I do have something to add, so I will bother.
I've never said it doesn't bother me, I would like this update as much as the next person. What I have maintained however, is that moaning on and on about the same thing is not going to get you anywhere, and it's certainly not going to speed up the release of the software.
Rest assured, as soon as there are dates, they will be available on these forums - they always are.
Browneggsandham
EDIT: Oh by the way - I read your little bits of advice, and judging by that, you don't have much of any importance to add either

And what exactly do 33 posts of "I want the sound fixed now" contribute to the forum? We know that the last Bromley update made sounds which go above a threshold level go all crackly. NTL know this, too. NTL are no-doubt going to fix it in the next release. But do you really think that diverting every thread you see onto the topic of your audio issues is going to make the update happen even one second quicker?
We know what happens with the sound. We know why it happens. We even know what NTL are attempting to do as a workaround. We know you're unhappy about the situation. What more is there to discuss?
And O2X1: You might at least try, for the common good and all that...

Re: BMR When?
[QUOTE=Tristan]NTL know this, too.[QUOTE]
Why then every time i ring up do they pretend they've never heard of it????????????????????????????????????
HURRY UP AND FIX THE PROBLEM ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF THERE'S NO DELAY AND THERE'S NO FIX DUE, THEN WHY DO I HAVE THE 'MR2' THING IN MY HEAD? DID I MAKE THIS UP? NO.
LIKE I SAID, IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO ADD EXCEPT WHINING LIKE A BITCH ABOUT ME COMPLIANING THEN DON'T BOTHER. SIMPLE.
Anyone got a clue as to proper information regarding this matter please let us frustrated ****ed off users with snap crackle pop sound (but spot on alarms apparently) know about it.
