Analogue channels over cable line

The newer boxes don't have pass thru .... you'll probbly have to add a splitter to the cable before it hits the STB, that way the analogue channels would be available.

trouble is that this is against the terms & conditions of using the service - and although several people have done it, with no problem, done badly it can affect the connection for everyone else in your area.

For the above reasons I'm sure this site won't condone posting instructions on how to do it, in the forum, but the principle is as you describe

Done properly, however, it can work a treat.
