Just had a text message from a friend whose engineer for ntl he has just been advised it is a fault with dns servers cause not known also some problems with dchp servers in certain areas affecting new registrations and ip refreshes

Ive got into my Gmail inbox..it's been a little slow but it does load.There was a little note that Google chat is having problems but as I don't use it I'm 'not bovvered'.

Yep, google is a gonner here.

I know some name servers I use (zomeedit) have seen under ddos attack again today, I wonder if ntl are under attack again as well (which was the problem last time).

It's a joke!

The tech support is doing an engaged thing.

I am going to be moving soon and when I do I am going to take great pleasure in disconnecting NTL. I will never ever use them again.

Tried changing DNS, some sites came back others (Yahoo/Google for two) didn't.

ahh same problems as say 2 weeks ago.... this time I dont think its a ddos but more likely NTL's crappy network

Google seems fine, however ebay, bbc and yahoo borked here in NN10.
