Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
You can't ignore how iconic the Ferrari look. I'd miss F1 for that very reason alone.

Not great that 2 races out of 2 have turned into exercises in tyre management.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I'm glad there was no rain or safety cars so we could see the cars real pace.
Really happy that Red Bull are not currently at the front this year.

Looks like both Ferraris will be disqualified, skid block infringement for Lewis and weight limit for Charlies as well as Gasly.

Edit. - disqualification now confirmed.

I'm not surprised maFIA will do anything to stop Hamilton winning number 8

You have so much hate in F1 it's unbelievable, a number of years ago you did the same to Ferrari but now Lewis is in the team you now forget that.
I'm a Lewis fan and now he's in a Ferrari I'm also a Ferrari fan but rules are rules, it also happened to an Alpine.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Hate is a strong word, I've lost my love of the sport thanks to the 2021 season fix (as many fans have called it)
Yes I was probably anti Ferrari a few years ago, but views and opinions change.
But as you know some teams get away with thing more than others.

They should get rid of drivers and make the cars remote controlled. Much safer.
Better still do it virtually on a computer.
At least make the cars electric, so they aren't destroying the planet whilst boring us senseless...

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Rumours flying around that Liam Lawson will lose his Red Bull seat as early as the Japanese Grand Prix due to his terrible performance in the first 2 races, being replaced by Yuki.
I never did like the guy he showed his mentality after flicking the bird last season to Perez so I'm hoping this is true.

While I find F1 completely pointless, a few racing cars are not going to destroy the planet.

Similarly not a fan for the same reason I do think it would be quite harsh and perhaps catastrophic for his future.
I guess on the other hand Horner does need an answer to whether it’s the car and giving Yuki a race weekend in his current form might be the quickest way. If the answer is it’s the car can only be driven by Max that’s a real problem for Red Bull.
LL only made positions today because of the 3 DQs, Alonso DNF, Bortoleto spinning lap 1, Doohan’s penalty and Yuki needing an extra pit stop for a front wing. In that respect he only made one place race distance in a car his team mate was only 16 seconds behind the leader.

Pretty much official now, I hope Yuki can do better considering the Red Bull car maybe difficult to drive unless you're Max.

Yes, He's quickly found out that Perez was actually doing a decent job.
I'd love to see Yuki do well, it will be very interesting to see how he gets on.
