I've been using AdBlockPlus for years now using the Easylist and EasyPrivacy.
I dont get any adverts, and no waiting around for Youtube adverts either.

It's worth remembering that without the income from advertising, many of the internet's sites, including this one, probably wouldn't exist, or would have to charge their members a subscription. We might not like adverts but they are a necessary evil.
