Well for me to move back to Sky is a body bag? From Virgin, to the earth and then SKY?
I am going the other way to shovel coal?
I will get my coat

Re: What would it take for you to move to Sky?
I wanted to initially go back to VM but they were not willing to offer me the discount on XLtv that everyone else gets for having BB. So I just went to Sky. Now I doubt I would ever go back to VM for any of their services.

The best STB by a country mile - Opinion
Huge OD libriary - Not that fussed as AT+ is good enough
Functionality - Sky+ has this as well
Operability and reliability - Sky+ has this as well
Recording capacity - Sky+ can hold more hours
Number of tuners - 1 thing that CM has over Sky
Supplemental content - Examples
Faster broadband - I agree
No ESPN fee - I agree
HD at no extra cost - I agree but Sky use this money for investments in HD
Cheaper multiroom subscription
No repair fees - First 12 months are free
More enhanced GUI - Examples
Multiroom streaming sometime soon - Coming to Sky this year as well

I do not regret going from VM to Sky. I am also looking forward to being able to download recordings from my Sky+ box to phone and tablet to watch on the move.

Re: What would it take for you to move to Sky?
I have been on cable since the days of Cambridge cable.
In all those years the only problem we've had was on our bill was some adult film/channels, which we couldn't have ordered as we were on holiday and the house was empty.
A couple of calls and they were removed from our bill.

You will always find customers who have good/bad experiences with most firms , my experience of VM customer services was pretty good on the whole however their network in my area was not

No argument from me MM. I'm reasonably pleased with my Tivo, it does pretty much what I want. My problem was when Sky wanted to charge £264 to replace an HD box that was 16 months old. They wouldn't budge so we switched to VM.

Christ on a bike, one day you'll get the chip off your shoulder about Murdoch and Sky you cantankerous old fart. You start threads in the current affairs section, have digs at Murdoch / Sky wherever else, seriously get a grip.
I fully await the completely unbiased moderation for pointing out the chip on said poster, who purely coincidentally happens to be a moderator's ridiculously coloured opinions on a company she's no relationship to as she's nothing better to do than hold a pointless grudge.
Goes in the same class of plausibility as moderation by a guy who thinks the earth is 6,000 years old.

Unless it is in bold, posts by moderators are opinions on the topic. Moderators obviously have opinions.
So your post makes no sense to me.

Re: What would it take for you to move to Sky?
Hmmm...What would it take for me to move to Sky?
Well I already did for the TV so for the BB shall we say the availability of Sky 80/20 COMPLETELY UNLIMITED FTTC in my area.
With all VirginMedia's limitations, unreliability, congestion and the dreadful Indian support center, it really is a no brainer.

I cannot recall anywhere in the T&Cs a rule that moderators must be unbiased or that we are not allowed an opinion.
