Hmmm, that'd use a lot of broadcasting bandwidth. I know VM's fiber optic network is pretty robust and fairly future-proof, but (guessing here) I don't think that'd be quite as viable an option for Freesat and Sky.

I agree.. HD uses a lot of bandwith, so unlikely for a while I think.

i'm not moaning i'm just concerned that again Virgin Media have lost the bidding war to Sky they get all the new channels first maybe ofcom should look at that too ?

It launches on Freesat, Freeview and Sky. So This has got nothing to do with Sky.
It will replace Sky Living loves on 159 or Current TV on channel 155 in spring 2012.

Why would not ? Considering CBS Action launches in 11 days on channel 192.
Sky Living loves does not close till january 24th.
