It wouldn't suprise me if they get more exclusive deals before the year is out, Sportify is just the start, ESPN would be a great addition.

Virgin Media premieres Harry Potter app on its TiVo® service
Quote:
Spellbinding range of content including access to all the earlier movies in the blockbuster series
To celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 on 15th July, Virgin Media has launched a dedicated Harry Potter app for its cutting edge TiVo service. Designed to conjure up even more excitement as we near the end of this magical movie series, the app celebrates the long and epic journey Harry and his friends have taken since they arrived at Hogwarts.
The new app, developed by Virgin Media with content from Warner Bros. Pictures debuts in the Virgin Media TiVo Apps and Games section. It has been carefully created with Harry Potter fans in mind, giving them a spellbinding range of Harry Potter content to remind them of the thrills of this great series.

If they can't do it or find it costly, they could make exclusive deals with broadcasters such as ITV and Discovery networks to provide content just for Tivo users.
But rather than just Tivo, i've always wondered why Virgin have never come up with having channels just exclusive to Virgin TV, such as Living, they could have made that exclusive.
The strangest thing is, Virgin Media own 50% of UKTV networks yet UKTV HD channels are not available on Virgin TV and only on Sky, how does that work!

But does Virgin have any control on what UKTV does?
Other than getting a dividend as a shareholder I would have thought that the day to day running was not anything to do with them.

I imagine they have some say in matters but BBC Worldwide essentially runs it.
