Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?
I flit between IE8 and Chrome. I like Chrome's speed, but IE has a much better interface. If it lives up to the hype then I'll probably go full time on IE9 when it's released.
I've tried, but don't like Firefox.

Haha, thats the ONLY reason I've ever used it on this netbook
I am however 'forced' to use IE6 at work, they won't upgrade us as a lot of our systems won't work on newer versions. My solution, put FF on all machines - what the heck do IT know anyway??

All I know is I use IE and couldn't even tell you which one I'm using. It works and that all I know.

Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?
i've used many browsers and many versions of them over the years and I always come back to IE. It works (as most of the net is coded with IE in mind over all the others), is safe (especially now with smartscreen) and it's already on the machine (well was, until the EU trading standards got involved!). if there are issues, MS patch it straight away. ok, so feature wise it's usually a little behind other browsers, but hey ho. there is nothing about IE that is bad enough to make me need, nor want to use another browser other than to try it out, so I stick with it. a lot people go on about how fast one browser is to the next. tbh, on 20Mb BB and an i7 machine, the speed difference is so slight, if any, it really isn't noticable enough to be a deal-breaker.
