It's a fair subject but I'd rather keep this one on-topic as well know how they usually turn out. But asking someone specifically about what they believe can be seen as bad form. I don't get offended as long as people realise belief IS personal and I won't always go in to detail about some things.

The truly sad part of this rather ridiculous story, is that children of these right-wing evangelicals are being spoon fed crap like conservapedia and young earth theory as fact...
I can't think of any where else in the western world where this ideological dogma would be lapped up so voraciously as it is in vast swaths of the US, personally I believe the children that are being encouraged to swallow this rubbish are literally being brainwashed.
Thankfully the vast majority of these extremists do not own a passport. (I've no doubt they believe the "devil" lives in Europe anyway).
