			could easily download and run a disk stressing tool and find out.  there are many free bootable ones out there that run outside of windows if you're worried that disk failure might be on the cards.

			That's why I dislike SMART technology. It silently allows your hard drive to fail until it is unusable. Only then do you know there is a problem. SMART my arse. The whole point of it was to alert users, not silently copy data from failing sectors to good sectors until everything goes pete tong.
