Quiet alot of rar'd archives, photo's, video's and a few other things (alot of p2p file sharing too). NTL's 1.5mb service is the only one with a good amount of upload speed, and that too isnt too much, its also a complete rip off.

Unless you live in Central London 256k is the highest upstream you'll get. Unless of course you want to pay three figures a month that is. That's life really, blame BT for not pushing the market. If 256k is all that's needed to compete at the price that's how it goes unfortunately.
