Reading his post, he did say Sky interactive services, so I would have taken that as meaning Sky...

Re: Red button for Sky sport/movie channels
back to my question. I would like the option to access the interactive content on sky sports, do ntl have any plans to make this facility available in the near future?

Re: Red button for Sky sport/movie channels
Or just joking, maybe?
It's pretty obvious though that it's Sky who are the ones dragging their heels over interactive services on cable. Notice that there's no Sky Active on Telewest either and that now we have SKy Sports Xtra on cable Sky have started to move the good stuff to Sky Sports Active (the same way they moved the good stuff to SSX before we got it).

Re: Red button for Sky sport/movie channels
Why would Sky spend the time/money making their interactive service available to ntl DTV customers - unless ntl were footing the bill?

Why shouldn't they?
It costs Sky The Broadcaster money to provide this service for satellite viewers, not Sky The Platform. The money may come from the same place ultimately, but this is how it should be seen. As a broadcaster, Sky should not be aloud to use their sports broadcasting monopoly to promote their digital TV service.

I have missed nothing - switched on player cam a few times- dumb idea
Multi news still avail to me as I have FTA sky -- never use it --more trouble than its worth - I am more likely to use ceefax
Now I don't get an annoying dot on every programme I do like eg cricket , eg rugby league, eg on videos when there is no 'interactive content' except games quizes and crap designed to part fools from their money
Yes $kylovers I know pressing back up gets rid - but 6/7 times an hour is too much.
WE DO NOT NEED AN ON SCREEN PROMT
