Errr for all the support the English give him perhaps, he might as well have spat in their faces with those comments that were 'taken out of context'.

On behalf of all my countrymen and women I'd like to apologise for not immediately recognizing the tremendous achievement of winning a World Cup thanks to a Russian linesman with dodgy eyesight.
I assume the comments relate to his "I support Scotland and anyone playing England" remarks which have nothing whatsoever to do with tennis or has he made some other remark advocating the death penalty for anyone sounding a bit cockney?

He looks way more a likely Grand Slam winner than Henman ever did. Murray just went flat out through the first and now he's just doing enough to hold serve and get the break he needs in the others. Why do anything else, it is a bit pointless to go flat out when you're through.
I remember certain Henman games in the early rounds where they were anything but comfortable - Michel Kratochvil?

Here's the context of those 3 year old remarks Link
' Henman said: "The whole thing was ridiculous and in a way it was my fault - we were walking to the interview and I was joking with him because it was a World Cup year.
"I said, 'What are you going to do? It must be a nightmare because Scotland never qualify for anything.Your rugby has gone downhill, you don't have your own team in the Olympics - you might as well go on holiday for a couple of weeks'.
"It was all good fun and good banter. Andy was laughing and hitting back. He said, 'I don't care - I'll just support anyone who is playing England!' The journalist was with us as we were walking to do the interview and we then did a 45-minute interview and football, England-Scotland, was never even mentioned. But the next day's headline was, 'I'll support anyone playing England'.
"It was an absolute stitch-up and it was very disappointing'

Re: Wimbledon 2009
His serving has improved massively since last year, if he continues to get his first serve in like he did today, i can't see him dropping too many service games. Just five unforced errors is pretty good as well...

Re: Wimbledon 2009
I still can't believe how well he is doing, I keep expecting him to get some sort of niggling injury and then have to quit.. He looks so much healthier than in previous years, I really hope he can go all the way this time!

I don't want your apology and never asked for it, lets hope you pay more attention when taking statements

Oh that's alright then, it has nothing to do with tennis

Re: Wimbledon 2009
Sat watching the Azerenko v Petrova match and was I in stitches... Her extremely unique warbling high pitched grunt just brings a smile to your face (link below has the video of the final game and you'll hear what I mean)
